We crossed the border into Colorado yesterday. We own a 5 acre parcel of land that we drove by yesterday, and the sight that greeted us was incredible. A herd of wild horses was ambling across the road.
They didn't seem too concerned about our presence. Fortunately I had a 300mm lense, so I was able to zoom in.
We camped for the first time last night, and all night I could hear the coyotes howling. They told us at the campground that they come in looking for the rabbits. I photographed this little guy in our campsite.
I wanted to post a photo of the Taos pueblo last time, but I lost my connection. This structure is over 1300 years old and has been continuously inhabited since it was erected.
This is the entrance to their church.
Well, hubby wants to get going so I'll close for now. Today we are heading out to Great Sand Dunes National Park. See you again soon!
