On Tuesday, we drove up into Rocky Mountain National Park. It will take a little time to become accustomed to the altitude so we drove and made lots of stops to take pictures.
We were at 11,000 feet - the alpine tundra.
The views, of course were spectacular.
I used my telephoto lens to get a close up of this alpine lake.
At slightly lower altitudes, there was much more green.
Nothing stops traffic faster than a herd of elk.
Isn't the baby cute?
I wouldn't mess with this guy.
I am the king.
I've got to go for now. The husband wants to get moving!
Until next time,
