It's a beautiful Sunday here and the husband and I began our day early with breakfast at a local icon.
Wimpy and Dee's is a genuine 1950's diner that was restored, brought up from Texas and reassembled in Honeybrook, PA.
This place is a piece of our national history.
I love the seats and the black and white tiled floors. Isn't the old radio in the corner cute? The chocolate chip pancakes are incredible and the coffee is the best around.
Get a load of the Hop-a-long Cassidy game, and the slingshot and pogo stick! The vintage school memorabilia is from my son's alma mater, Twin Valley High School. On the far right, you can see a photo of the cheerleading squad (circa 1950's).
I love the airplane, and the tin ceiling tiles are original.
Aren't Wimpy and Dee adorable together? They were married during WWII, just before Wimpy shipped out.
There's a lot of history here.
If you look closely, I'll bet you can find something in this case that you recognize!
Have a lovely Sunday, and thank you for visiting!
Until next time,
