Today is Works In Progress Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced and I have something to share with you. Before I get started, I would like to thank each and every one of you who stopped by last week and expressed sympathy at my father-in-law's passing. I am so grateful to you for your kindness.
And now for the quilt:
I basted it together last month, and I'm finally beginning the hand-quilting process. I think this one may be in the que for awhile :)
My sister and quilting buddy, Lorrie and I made another trip out to Intercourse, PA to check out what's new at The Old Country Store yesterday. The new fabric collections are gorgeous, but I ended up choosing a few fat quarter bundles of some older fabrics from Kansas Troubles.
I also added in some of the newer Kansas Troubles fabrics.
I did a search online for twelve-inch blocks and I found amazing resources for free cutting instructions at About.com, Delaware Quilts.com, and at Quilter's Cache.com. I think I'll probably make a sampler quilt from Kansas Troubles fabrics.
That's all I have for today. I'll see you again soon!
Until next time,
