I was inspired by a cute photo of a cottage to create this page for my Art Journal. When my son was small, we lived in Portugal for about six months while my husband was there on assignment. Although it was a once in a lifetime experience, there was a place in my heart that never left home.

My family and my own quiet space to read, dream, and just be surrounded by the things that mean the most to me.... my cousin's art, our travel mementos, family photos and art, my sleep number bed which has spoiled me from all others (just having gotten home from vacation where sleep was not like it is at home! ) and just BEING home!

That feeling you get as you pull into your driveway after a trip away.......it's good to be home. :)
