Happy Pink Saturday! Today marks my one hundredth post at Comfort Cottage. In addition, I hit the big 5-0 this week. My sweet hubby treated me to dinner and a wonderful box of chocolates (Chocolate covers a mulitude of ills!). I'm trying to remember not to complain about turning 50...many have never had the privilege.
Now, I must say that it has been a bit of a rough week. Last Saturday, I took you on a virtual tour of Longwood Gardens. On the following Tuesday it became apparent that I would be paying a high price for those photographs. Chester County happens to be notorious for Lyme Disease, and by Tuesday of this week, I found out why. I had no idea how sick you could become if infected. Needless to say, antibioitics will be my life for the next month!
SO, WHERE'S THE PINK?
I saved these photos of the quilt hanging in the reception area at Longwood. The quilt was much larger, but this is the pink part.

I love the birds!

Here is a final flower from my ill-fated Longwood tour :)

Many thanks to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for hosting Pink Saturday. If you would like to visit all of the participants, click on the Pink Saturday icon in my right sidebar.
I have not been able to do much blog-hopping, due to being sick, but I promise to introduce a new blog next week. Also, a special announcement:
DUE TO SHIPPING COSTS, GIVEAWAY WILL ONLY BE OPEN TO CONTINENTAL US RESIDENTS! Thank you for understanding.
God bless you until next time,
